Very Rare Peters Line Drying Reel with Original Box. R.D. Peters was granted two reel patents, the first on Nov 18, 1918 for a line drying reel, the second on Aug 22, 1922, also for an Indiana style reel. This example, marked "Line Drying Casting Reel - Copyrighted - Patented - The Peters Bait Co. Knox, Ind" is a five arm reel with a 5 1/2" diameter. The nickel plated brass reel is in excellent condition and comes with the only known example of a Peters picture box in this configuration. A picture of the reel, mounted on a rod is displayed along with information on the reel's use. Original paperwork is also included, that while torn in places, remains a rare item. Truly a rare combination.

This is a WILD CHERRY DUCK CALL made by EVERETTE BALDRIDGE of HARDY, AR. The call is 6 1/4" tall and Arkansas style.
The call has 3 raised checkered panels and one panel that has "EB" in IVORY cutout letters. There is also an IVORY diamond in one panel.
The call is also banded. This is the ONLY call Everette put IVORY letters for his name in the barrel.
The checkereing has also been highlighted in black. Stopper has checkering around it. You can find Everette ADVERTISEMENT on pages 5-6 in James Flemings new Custom Calls Volume II book.

THIS IS A WILTOM "LIVE LURE" GLASS MINNOW TUBE. MADE IN CINCINNATI, OHIO. THES WERE THE LAST OF THE COMMERCIALLY PRODUCED GLASS MINNOW TUBES, MADE CIRCA 1931, AND ARE VERY RARE.

THIS LURE IS IN IT'S ORIGINAL UNMARKED BOX WHICH IS IN POOR CONDITION, BUT IT DID ITS JOB PROTECTING THE LURE AND THE REALLY NICE HEAVY PAPER ADVERTISEMENT INSIDE.

THE CHROME FRAME AROUND THE GLASS IS MARKED "PAT. PEND." THIS LURE HAS WHAT I THINK IS THE ORIGINAL WAX PAPER THAT COVERED THE GLASS THREADS THE METAL CAP SCREWS ON TO. THIS LURE IS UNFISHED AND THE PAPER.
