EARLY SWASTIKA BRAND
I am pleased to offer this rare ASHAWAY ZANE GREY line spool
with the early swastika logo - pre-WW II
Ashaway adopted the swastika logo because it was an old Native
American good luck symbol. Unfortunately, Hitler also decided
to use this symbol for other other purposes forcing Ashaway to
drop it from there branding.
This wonderful old line spool is 2 5/8 inch long and 2 5/8 inches
in diameter. The spool has both of its old labels which show some age
and no holes. The spool is about than half full of unused
Zane Grey linen line. The label states it is 18 thread line
that would test over 54 pounds wet. It is a 200 yard spool.
A great display item or fill up one of your vintage
Coxe, Vom Hofe or Kovalovsky reels with the line.

Even a used Zane Grey fishing line will fetch a good price.
