A really nice four and a half inch, wide drum, alloy HARDY BROS Ltd ALNWICK 'PERFECT' fly reel. Scarcely found in this size.
The reel is in excellent condition with no cracks to the cage,drum, spool or line guard and no filing to the foot. The reel is in excellent mechanical condition and retains most of the manufacturers original finish.
Fat Ivorine handle. Smooth Brass Foot, Turks Head locking nut over tension screw, Revolving Patent nickel silver lineguard.
Nickel Plated Heavy Duty 1912 Check. All in all this Hardy Perfect reel is an excellent example and a sound investmentl.
